This thing is super cool. So it comes with real pink salt to put under it which looks really nice and covers the LEDs and may supposedly offer some additional health benefits. It's basically ultrasonic like a humidifier and diffuses the vapor through a thin slot which is illuminated so it makes it appear like fire which is a very cool effect. It changes eight different colors though the remote can be a little finicky at times it does work very well. I've added a few different essential oils and they all have worked well. We have RO water in our home so I always fill it up with RO water and it's run very well. At under $30 currently I think it is a very nice addition to your home as well as a pretty interesting conversation piece.
